We host workshops and roundtable discussions with key policy stakeholders, including the Scottish Government, ClimateXChange, and the Royal Society of Edinburgh. The Scottish Forum on Future Electricity Markets is the only ongoing platform that connects private and public actors in discussing the specific implications of electricity market reform for Scotland. Following a successful event in December at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, we are planning follow-up meetings and discussions for 2025.

The First Scottish Forum on Future Electricity Markets

At the First Scottish Forum on Future Electricity Markets, over 40 participants from across a range of stakeholder groups, including consumer bodies, the energy industry, the Scottish and UK Governments, the National Energy System Operator (NESO) and representatives from the Highlands and Islands communities, discussed the ongoing REMA electricity market reform process.
